What were you involved in while at Penn?
Mostly Theta Tau haha, I was pledgemaster in spring 2018. I also was a member of Hex, the senior society.
What have you been up to since graduating?
I work as a software engineer at Lyft! I joined Aug 2018
What was the biggest change, going from college to career?
Biggest change was kind of just figuring out how to see friends. In college your friends are roommates or classmates or live a couple blocks away from you. As an adult you really have to consciously make an effort to see people.
What was/is your favorite thing about Theta Tau? Favorite OT events/memories?
My favorite thing about Theta Tau is definitely the people. I made some of my best friends in the fraternity and it’s great to meet up with someone visiting from out of town and pick up right where we left off. I always felt like I had a supportive community to study with for classes and also make sure I got home safe after a wild night at 4002( stopping for mcds ofc).
Do you have any advice for us still here at Penn?
Don’t stress so much about classes, it’ll really all be fine. I think being around such smart people all the time in the fraternity is kind of a blessing and a curse because you can’t help but sometimes compare yourself. Funny thing is after school, you all end up at the same kind of jobs so don’t stress about that either. Also work life is so much better you get to focus on 1 or 2 things instead of 5 god bless.
