This past semester, Tip Squad saw a resurgence under new leadership with captain Selina Nie. Every Tuesday, late in the evening, a group of us would trek across campus to Rockwell gym, and play with full hearts. Despite a tight loss in semi-finals, highlights of the match included Jack passing a particularly hard-driven hit with his knee, shocking the other team and earning us the point. Some of our players chimed in about the season:

“Saw improvement right before my eyes. I thought we were gonna get crushed, but we didn’t.” - Captain Selina

Being a part of tip squad over the past few years has been such a joy. The team that reigned tip squad when I was a sophomore has since graduated and moved. Every year, a slightly different team comes back to play, but consistently through it all, the brothers of OT come ready to have a blast, crush some balls, and look cute doing it.
